We are excited to have an opportunity for a seasoned and dynamic HR professional who will develop and successfully execute the delivery of HR services to the Corporate Functions and Performance Products (PP) Division associates in the EMEA region.

As the Regional Senior HR Manager you will be supported by 1-2 HR Business Partners looking after 500+ Huntsman associates across Europe and report into the Global Human Resource Director, Corporate Functions being located at our HQ’s in the Woodlands. You will also serve as lead HR role for our Krakow GBS Hub based in the heart of Krakow.

As the Regional Senior HR Manager you will participate in strategic projects such as creation of global business services plans, building organizational capabilities, cultural change, M&A and subsequent organizational integration.

  • Design and execute the appropriate HR functional and business strategy and ensure overall alignment and consistency within the EAME region.
  • Lead and develop the HR teams in both the EMEA PP Division and Corp. Functions.
  • Drive key projects in EMEA region involving People/ HR matters, strengthening competencies, organizational design, talent management, rewards & recognition.
  • Be the main point of contact for people related matters to senior leaders and the functions EAME leadership teams.
  • Ensure that programs, tools and actions are fully aligned to EAME region and local regulations and aligned with EHS and Ethics and Compliance policies.
  • Lead the definition and delivery of the resourcing plan (recruitment and exits)
  • Strong leadership of talent management in the business through the businesses Talent Bank, Succession Program, Performance Management & Development Programs, targeted executive and associate development programs, etc.
  • Lead the HR and Change Management aspects of the Regional BU strategic programs, including culture change, employee engagement surveys and follow up actions etc.
  • Give input into regional Compensation & Benefits design and management (salary reviews, incentive and benefits design)
  • Act as local representative for the Global HR Business Partner when necessary to ensure operational continuity
  • Presence in the Europe business division meetings to give input and feedback to the business strategies.
  • Support the business in dealing compliance issue which includes investigation, interview and disciplinary action.
  • Provide HR shared service support to other divisions as necessary
  • Manage regional HR budget
Experience/Qualifications
  • Education: University degree preferably in HRM
  • Experience: at least 10+ years of management-level experience in operational HR in a multicultural or international work environment preferably in the chemical or related industry. Strong Labor Relations, including employee communication, contract negotiation and administration.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Solid basis in HR policy and programs: design, implementation and administration. Broad experience in management techniques, processes and styles. Experience in structured change management and successful track record as a change agent. Good understanding of business strategy development and implementation.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is required
  • High degree of networking skills required to operate across the different divisional and regional business units.
  • Jobholder must have high degree of conceptual and analytical thinking and must be numerate to keep track of project progress.
  • Ability to work on an international level and to constantly reset priorities, whenever appropriate, to align with major business changes.
