The Shared Service Delivery (SSD) area is responsible for service design, service development and the provision of all end-user, data center & cloud infrastructure as well as communication services in the BWI service portfolio. It primarily provides standardized service solutions for customers. Shared Service Delivery is an integral part of the CDO and is therefore largely responsible for the common goals and measures. Our motivation is maximum operational stability and high customer satisfaction. Shared Service Management (SSM) is the input channel for all requests and orders into the SSD. It is the order interface to Solution Delivery Management and Customer Solutions. SSM is accountable for the SSD solutions and all QM measures. The “Service-providing IT” portion provides all employees with the IT they need to provide services to our customers. This includes the IT infrastructure, processes and their lifecycle.
- Ensuring the provision of services in the area of responsibility and in cooperation with other specialist areas and departments
- Responsible for providing the required IT services and solutions for employees in BWI to ensure service delivery
- Expansion and management of the department
- Responsible for cost management and the optimal use of all necessary resources
- Continuous improvement of procedures and work processes in the effective area to increase productivity and early detection of deviations
- Ensuring implementation of technical standards, quality assurance and best practices
- Responsible for requirements and implementation management as well as the necessary coordination with stakeholders, service providers and BWI employees
- Completed university degree in the field of business informatics or comparable training
- Many years of professional experience (approx. ten years) with responsibility for several specialist areas and the disciplinary leadership of a team of managers and/or specialists and experts in the fields of IT infrastructure, processes and their lifecycle
- Min. six years of well-founded experience in the areas mentioned
- Successful and resilient experience in setting up and transforming/transitioning a similar task in a complex organizational environment
- Advisory competence to promote employees and bring them into line with company goals
- Confident demeanor and clearly recognizable desire to solve problems as well as a strong willingness to change
