As Senior Manager Supply Chain Finance Europe you will be responsible for partnering with the supply chain finance team and the European plant controllers and other areas of the business that impact/ rely upon cost of goods sold/ data insights. Reporting to the Regional Delivery Partner, the role is responsible for proactively identifying end to end process improvements and adhoc projects/events that unlock and deliver business value and will ensure that robust financial controls are in place and complied to in line with accounting policy and S404 standards. This role demands a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across Europe.

  • Partners with the European business partners to execute against supply chain and GBS operational objectives.
  • Ensure robust financial controls are in place and are effective in line with accounting policy and S404.
  • Proactively partners with European supply chain to identify and deliver scope expansion delivered through GBS Global network or hosted services.
  • Be the advocate for KWS /six sigma and process excellence. Identify opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain business beyond what we have today. Through ideation and CI approaches.
  • Responsible for managing cost center budget.
  • Responds and resolves escalated issues.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture internal/ external striving to exceed customers’ needs, requirements, and expectations.
  • Undertake additional projects and activities as assigned by GBS RDP.
  • 5-10 years experience, financial and broad managerial
  • Experience in leading large multifunctional teams in a matrixed reporting environment, experience working for a multinational organization where s/he would have worked with international teams
  • Previously supervised managers of multifunctional or global teams reporting to him/her in the past and ideally worked in an operations environment
  • Experience working in a shared service and/or process-driven environment is required. Skills in LEAN tools and techniques is preferred
  • Ability to look cross functionally and weigh competing ideas and priorities
  • Ability to influence overall business results while managing the risk profile of the business
  • Ability to lead and sustain business and cultural changes
