Adevinta launched a Finance transformation initiative to move Adevinta Finance to a new operating model, with Centralised finance functions (e.g. FinOps, Regional Controlling, etc.) and one global BPO partner with bases in Romania and India. Our Global Headquarters in Barcelona when Adevinta was created in 2019. Our main hubs are based in Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.
The Finance Operations team supports the finance operations across the organization in identifying improvement opportunities, works with stakeholders to develop business cases and implementation of plans and acts as an escalation point of contact for the BPO.
- Operation role to support the France OTC Finance Business Partner
- Key focus for this role is on Billing and Revenue.
- Billing
- Key focus will be the responsibility of the billing operations, resolving issues and defects. working with the local and Central Tech teams to resolve issues and defects.
- Supporting BPO on billing/revenue reconciliations.
- Revenue
- Focus on accurate and completeness of Revenue
- Revenue reconciliations
- Supporting during and at month end for Revenue recognition,
- Supporting the stakeholders (local/central controlling, FP&A teams and BPO).
- Billing
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of billing queries, credit notes, discounts and rebates
- Develop awareness and knowledge of internal customer requirements and the expected levels of service required for successful operations.
- Develop and deliver an effective customer focused order to cash process for the organization, including pricing, billing, cash, and revenue recognition
- Build strong business partnering relationship with both internal (location: France and Europe) and external key stakeholders (India)
- Strong finance experience (+5-8 Years)
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent) qualified accountant
- Understanding of full Order to Cash process
- Strong working knowledge of SAP S4
- Fluent in English and French, while additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience working with a large, global finance team or professional services firm
- Proven continuous improvement and change management experience in a finance and technology environment
- Strong operations background in a process driven role with exposure to centralized finance processes – Shared Service Center
