As a key player in Development factory, this role will be accountable for the Design, Develop, and Implement/delivering solutions while working on HANA/CLOUD/ABAP in the area of ERP and will work with Design experts, different technology architects, vendors, project management teams, 3rd party users, business users etc in the area of ERP and will be part of our DDIT APD team.

• Design, Develop, and Implement/delivering solutions while working on HANA/CLOUD/ABAP based business process solutions and services provided by Dev Factory in projects.
• Act as provider and coordinator of technical expertise in SAP development technologies like S/4 Hana, BTP and FIORI/UI5 for projects
• Participate in project/enhancements quality management tasks, such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents, and code reviews. Address IT/Business escalations from global teams related to technical design decisions/delivery of Dev Factory projects.
• Perform hands-on solution design, solution architectures, poc’s, and development tasks. Acts as gatekeeper that is responsible for completeness, and quality of development work delivered for deployment into Novartis ERP systems through formal review and acceptance/rejection of this work
• Responsible for maintaining , updating Quality review guidelines for Factory team to follow and ensuring compliance to the technical standards ,practices and processes that govern/control factory Services work (e.g. design, development, configuration); also contributes to definition and evolution of these.
• Understands and drives application of vendor and industry-driven standard methodologies in ERP solutions, such as code reuse and customization avoidance. Ensures that work activities and work product align with all relevant regulatory and internal policy controls (e.g. GxP, SOX, Security Baseline).
• Proactive engagement and building of effective working relationships with in IT, the Business, peers and external partners as appropriate.
• Retain critical and key know how to be able to assess services provided by vendors and third parties. Document processes and policies used within Development Factory. Govern system access for development activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in computers.
• SAP certification in S/4 HANA is essential.
• Proven experience in SAP S4 HANA and eco-system applications
• Required Minimum 15 years of hands-on work experience in developing SAP applications in S4 HANA, BTP, CDS , ABAP Webdynpro and Integration technologies ( SAP PI or CPI )
• Should have worked in PM,QM,PP,MM,FI/CO and SD modules.
