The formation of the Shared Services in 2013 reflected the main focus to support the businesses, pushing the Group to a higher level by building regional Information Technology (IT) capabilities and solutions.
- Define and drive the vision for target technology architecture and seek alignment with key stakeholders.
- Target technology architecture delivers business capabilities, and outcomes for the bank.
- Getting consensus on target technology architecture with all stakeholder, and driving the vision. Technology Standards
- Define and enforce technology standards for application, infrastructure and data architecture across the region.
- The adoption of technology standards enables to achieve technology standardization, asset reuse, technology optimization as well as cost savings/reduction.
- Identifying and consolidating the appropriate technology stack for the environment.
- Develop research paper on latest technology for application, infrastructure, and data architecture
- Introduce new technology for application, infrastructure and date, and promote the use of these technology.
- Completed research papers will provide knowledge of the current technology trends in the industry for application, infrastructure, and data architecture.
- Ideas of new technology will enable Maybank to compete in the forefront in the digital space. Technology Architecture Patterns
- Establish technology architecture patterns for application, data, and infrastructure.
- Establish patterns will allow for the quick alignment of architecture solutions and reduce time-to-market for new or enhanced Maybank products across the enterprise.
- Establishing new patterns and identifying existing patterns that can be formalized as endorsed patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Management Information Systems, Statistics, or any other related field.
- A solid track record within a similar sized Financial Services Provider or Bank, preferably within the ASEAN region.
- At least 5 years’ experience at the Enterprise Architect level including significant experience in leading and managing large scale technology environments
