Right across the Pipera metro station, the Samsung Shared Services Centre Europe, established in 2016 in Bucharest (Romania) covers Financial, Customer Service and HR processes for Samsung subsidiaries across Europe.
- Constant information exchange with HQ in South Korea, as well as subsidiary Finance teams across the region
- Co-operation and communication with BPO sub-contractor providing AR services across all EU Subsidiaries
- CPIs weekly review, monthly final results validation, yearly continuous improvement results validation
- First Point of Contact for process/ system queries & escalations
- Responsible to validate any expansion or process improvement opportunities; collaborate with InHouse Transformation Manager and other F&A Process Owners accordingly
- Responsible to drive Process Improvement projects, for opportunities either identified by themselves or by BPO, Subsidiaries, HQ
- Participate/ organize (as required) Subsidiaries’ visits to SSCE or SSCE to local teams, in order to address potential process issues, new scope to be transferred, improve collaboration etc
- Responsible to validate any BPO FTE (re)sizing, FTE Productivity, Project Cost before formal approval from Head of SSCE is obtained
- Responsible to validate any RPA/ QPA/ Continuous Improvement initiative from BPO, before formal approval from Head of SSCE is obtained
- Responsible to coordinate BPO in case of system rollouts or changes proposed by HQ/SUBs
- Responsible to review and ensure Subsidiaries’ approvals are obtained for BPO SOPs, on regular basis
- Responsible to conduct and/or validate Time&Motion exercise for BPO, when required
- Responsible to coordinate and collaborate with BPO Process Owner relating to Process Knowledge actions (Agent Performance Issues, New Joiners Integration, Process Knowledge Testing)
- Responsible to collaborate with InHouse BPO Governance Coordinator, BPO Process Owner/ Operations Manager/Team Leaders, to review trends in Inflow vs Outflow vs Capacity, Backlog, SR (ticket) Ageing, Transfer Rate, Accuracy (overall and in-scope), TAT, other metrics
- Responsible to train, coordinate and mentor designated IH AR SME
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Management/ Finance/ Economics or related field
- A graduate with accountancy /economic background, having 10+ years professional experience in F&A function
- Deep domain knowledge with operational experience in AR (nice to have if also experience in AP)
- Prior work experience in shared delivery centers/ Big4s/ third party reputed outsourcing and technology companies
- Proven Project Management experience
- Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate organizational change utilizing a full spectrum of change methods
- Ability to work with remote teams, in multicultural environment
- Experience of working in a customer oriented organization delivering high levels of customer service to internal and external customers
- Experience of working in a high volume, performance driven accounting transactions environment
- Expertise in MS Office, SAP
- Specific domain qualifications relevant for each tower – nice to have: ACCA, CIMA, CAT, ICM (Institute of Credit Management), TARN, PRINCE, AgilePM, PMP
- Mature personality with strong and independent point of view
- Fluent in English
