• Lead the establishment of a finance shared services centre in Batam, Indonesia
• Manage billings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and GL accounting functions under a shared services centre for a few countries in Asia
• Define and agree SLAs with key stakeholders, including KPIs, and manage performance
• Proactively manage and monitor overall shared services centre performance to drive accuracy and timeliness of all deliverables
• Maintain strong controls ensuring all group policies, tax and other statutory requirements are complied with by the shared services centre team. Elevate the relevancy and timeliness of the control environment
• Continuously structure, standardise and optimise financial processes and systems and tax planning for the business and shared service centre
• Improve on SOPs for easy guidance and implementation
• Take charge of and inspire a team to provide high-quality services within stipulated turnaround times
• Support Regional Finance Controller/Finance Managers with timely and accurate financial information
• Manage cash flow and optimise cash balances by tracking transactions

• Degree in Finance or Accounting fields
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in managing a finance shared services centre
• Strong technical accounting background and knowledgeable about taxation
• Prior experience in driving system improvements
• Customer focused, with service-delivery and flexible mindset
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective and strong written and oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills
• Able to build effective relationships across business groups and functions
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Cognos systems a plus
• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and familiarity with Indonesia a plus
