RE Tech Advisors is seeking a Vice President of Shared Services to oversee RE Tech’s Shared Services Teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing firm working to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future.

  • Contribute to development, maintenance and implementation of RE Tech’s annual Strategic Plan, company strategies, priorities, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the annual business plans for each Shared Service Team ensure alignment with company strategies and priorities.
  • Coordinate with the VP of Sustainability Programs to establish efficient and effective processes for collaborating across teams to successfully deliver robust sustainability programs. Ensure these processes are followed.
  • Oversee the Shared Services teams in successfully delivering client work on time, and on budget, and ensuring teams are properly resourced and billability targets achieved. Ensure proper pricing for services and monitor key financial metrics across the Shared Services Teams to support the company achieving financial targets.
  • Ensure excellence and client satisfaction across the Shared Services Team, both with internal and external clients. Coordinate with the VP of Sustainability Programs to ensure Shared Services Teams are contributing effectively to client satisfaction.
  • Oversee team professional development, career progression, performance management, and engagement across the Shared Services Team.
  • Ensure the Shared Services teams are properly resourced and staffed.
  • Support business development efforts, in coordination with the VP of Growth & Innovation and VP of Sustainability Programs, and with oversight of the Shared Services leaders. This includes new and existing client business development, the development of new products and services, and conference engagement.
  • Ensure Shared Services Teams provide training and project work opportunities to the RE Tech Rotational Program. This program provides on the job training in sustainability for early career professionals and those transitioning into the sustainability field.
  • Serve on RE Tech’s Executive Leadership team.
  • Perform all other duties as needed and assigned.

Required Education And/or Experience

  • 15 + years of professional work experience, with at least five years of experience leading teams in the sustainability and the real estate industry, with a proven track record of success in strategic planning, business development, and driving growth.
  • At least three years of experience working in and leading a Shared Services consulting model.
  • At least five years of demonstrated leadership experience leading the management of multiple functional areas/departments, including experience with business operations, leadership, and all aspects of team and performance management.
  • Experience in a professional services firm, building and managing relationships across clients and internal teams, managing time based and fixed fee contracts, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes.
