Reporting to and working alongside the Chief Operating Officer, the Finance Manager position is key to ensuring the smooth operating of the company. Sitting in the broader shared service centre, this role has one direct report who undertakes transactional finance duties (AP, AR, bank recs, etc.). This position will gain high level exposure to the senior leadership team, and will be a direct finance point of contact for any queries. This role will take full responsibility for finance, and would suit a professional individual who is keen to build their career and broaden their executive level exposure.

• Produce and upkeep accurate financial accounts;
• Assist more junior members of the team in their activities (i.e. AP, AR, bank recs, etc.) when required;
• Maintaining trust accounts;
• Effectively managing cashflow;
• Monthly financial reporting, advising COO and Partner Group and actuals vs budgets, reforecasting, etc.;
• Providing monthly board packs;
• Strategic planning regarding budgeting and forecasting;
• BAS, IAS & Payroll tax, and;
• Ad hoc requests as they arise.

• Circa 7 years accounting experience;
• CA / CPA qualified;
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.);
• Multiple systems experience;
• Comfortable with taking ownership of payroll;
• Excellent communication skills, and;
• The ability to build strong communication skills.
