The Procurement Manager of Non IT will be responsible for identifying and screening suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions favorable to [24]7, driving improved supplier service levels, minimizing risk while improving [24]7 business results, standardizing and automating business and procurement best practice processes for Non-IT Commodities / Products & Services like Facility equipment’s, Real estate, Leasing, Admin, HR, Marketing, Import, Marcom, Media and so on…
- Manager will be responsible for strategic sourcing (create alternative source of supply) to buy more for less and to ensure fair supplier selection at fair value.
- Non-it commodities Procurement and maintenance like Fit out projects like UPS, BMS, CCTV (the electrical, mechanical, decorating and furnishing).
- S/he will have a keen eye – Able to examine all deals with perspective of commercial Knowledge, Taxes, Excise or other Duties for local items & Import, Custom duties, Contractual clauses (such as indemnity, liability, insurance, guarantees etc).
- S/he will work with Department Heads to understand bills of materials/SOW, Put together historical price and terms, Prepare for negotiation, Negotiate prices on quotes received by departments, arrange for alternative quotes if necessary to help negotiate and price benchmark, Work with stake holder and Legal team for contract finalization and issue purchase orders to vendors.
- S/he will be based out of Bangalore office but will handle Non IT spend for India GEO.
- Overall 10-12 years’ experience in a Shared Service environment with minimum 5+ years in Procurement of Non IT Products and Services like Facility equipment’s, Real estate, Leasing, Admin, HR, Marketing, Import, Marcom, Media and so on..
- Must be from IT / ITES / BPO industry.
- Experience of managing Procure to pay processes & Procurement Operations.
- Experienced in Facility equipment procurement & maintenance.
- Ideal candidate who has fit out projects experience. Someone who has involved in Fit out projects like UPS, BMS, CCTV (the electrical, mechanical, decorating and furnishing).
- Should have acumen to prepare for negotiation and excellent negotiation skills, stakeholder management and continuous improvement mind set.
- Experienced in strategic sourcing and managing diverse customer base
- Should be highly proactive in doing consistent follow ups to drive deals to closures.
- Well organized and resourceful
- Aware of taxes, contractual clauses and other terms of commercials
- Should poses strong ethics.
- Should be foresighted, highly agile & Quick Learner
- Should have ability to analyse Empirical data and ability to put together historical price and terms for a repeat buy
