Our corporate team is a central hub for Thales Australia. It’s where our shared services – think finance, legal, HR, procurement – come together to make sure our teams across Australia have access to the business services they need. Cross-functional collaboration helps us build out Thales’ capabilities in a robust way – and helps us open up new career opportunities for employees all across the business. This role reports directly to our COO and has a significant working relationship with each member of the Australian Executive Leadership team.
- Take the existing Services vision and blueprint to the next phase of its evolution
- Improve operational capability and performance
- Drive a transformation program of Service operations across Australia with universal processes, tools and KPIs.
- Coordinate strategy and business development goals with Group, Country and BL counterpart.
- Nurture the Thales Australia Services community that actively shares best-practice, talent and resources for the benefit of Thales Australia and the Group.
- Be the voice of the Australian Customer within the Group, particularly in upstream product design and through-life product development.
- Robust Leadership skills and experience with an extensive track record gained in a complex delivery organisation.
- In-depth knowledge and experience gained from working in a technology-based service delivery environment, preferably within a real time, safety related industry.
- Strong team spirit and ability to set up and energise an integrated network, having a common direction and the full support of the internal teams.
- Evidence of successfully co-ordinating the management of significant change.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with evidence of successful multi-partner negotiations.
