As a Senior Manager for Project and Transition Management, you will play a pivotal role in defining our client’s future. You will be responsible for organising project teams, developing schedules, managing resources, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Your ability to identify and resolve obstacles will be crucial in delivering projects on time and within budget. You will also manage multiple interrelated projects, integrate vendor tasks into project plans, coach lower-level professionals, all while working independently with limited supervision.
- Efficiently organise project teams, delegate responsibilities, create schedules, and allocate resources
- Monitor and report project progress, including costs, timelines, and staffing levels
- Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, such as those set by the International Standards Organisation
- Identify and address obstacles to timely and budget-conscious project completion
- Manage multiple interconnected projects, including business transformation initiatives, while integrating vendor tasks and overseeing deliverables
- Independently oversee projects and processes with minimal supervision, while providing coaching and feedback to junior staff
- A minimum of five years’ experience in finance project transformation and transition; at least two years of project leading experience
- Competency in SAP
- An aptitude for systems with an appetite for automation and continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment and manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
