Congruex is looking for a VP, People Services Business Partner, to join our team.

Energize your career as a strategic Vice President, People Services Business Partner within our People Services (HR) team. We are seeking a passionate business leader to champion initiatives that propels business growth, elevates people operations, and promotes a culture of safety and continuous improvement. As a pivotal leader, you will play a key role in crafting and executing People strategies to support our key business objectives and overarching business plan.

PS Business Partnering Strategy and Executive Advisory:

  • Elevate HR value-added service through proactive engagement, delivering strategic HR solutions that drive business growth.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing valuable insights on HR matters, best practices, and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the strategic alignment of People Services processes and approaches across a large group of geographically dispersed Operating Units within the organization
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the People Service team to help accelerate development, effectiveness, and overall performance

Organization Design and Talent Management:

  • Lead organization design and change management initiatives to transform Congruex into a shared service operating model.
  • Facilitate dynamic talent development discussions within client groups, guiding processes such as talent reviews, individual development planning, and nominations for development programs.
  • Analyze trends in talent needs assessments, providing strategic guidance to both the PS team and client groups. Conduct organizational capability and capacity analyses to drive targeted development efforts.
  • Spearhead innovative initiatives addressing business requirements and developmental needs, ensuring a proactive approach to talent growth and succession planning.
  • Stay abreast of trends, best practices, and technological advancements in HR, talent management, and employment law. Apply this knowledge to communicate policy changes and resource updates to upper management.

Ensure PS Operational Excellence:

  • Lead the ongoing position budgeting review and management process, ensuring alignment with workforce plans, span of control metrics, budgets, and productivity metrics.
  • Operationalize data intelligence and reporting cadences, leveraging internal and external data, trends, and analytics to provide actionable insights. Measure the impact of PS initiatives and recognize performance through data-driven assessments.
  • Serve as a strategic business advisor to senior leadership teams, actively supporting talent priorities. Educate employees at all levels on HR solutions, representing PS’s perspective in business decisions, and ensuring seamless alignment with the overarching business strategy.
  • Drive initiatives to standardize our People Services practices, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations across all locations.
  • Promote and sponsor DEI initiatives, actively working towards creating an inclusive workplace that values diversity and promotes equity at all organizational levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven competency in strategic and tactical Human Resources operations, including Employee Relations, Compensation, Performance Management, Org Design, etc.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze & interpret financial and business-related data, driving thoughtful recommendations & action.
  • Strong transformation, change management and project management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, MBA, Masters or law degree a plus.
  • At least ten years of human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a construction or telecommunications company is a plus.
