Our Client is an international company building a new SSC in Warsaw, Poland. This position is great for someone who wants to be a leader in a lively and global environment. This is an exciting chance to start and grow the accounting teams from the beginning in this new SSC. The company offers a flexible work model.
- leading the Cash & Working Capital Team; distributing the workload and setting priorities; performance management, recruitment, team development
- accountability for cash, working capital and inventory reporting activities
- ensuring process requirements, KPIs and SLAs are met; drive efficiency and accuracy in the processes in scope
- ownership over continuous improvement initiatives; identification of process improvement initiatives
- cooperation with Treasury, GL, AP and AR departments
- being a key point of contact for various stakeholders (SSC-based and local or corporate teams)
- Proven experience in a similar position gained in an SSC/GBS environment.
- Possession of a Chartered Accountant certification and familiarity with US GAAP will be an asset.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting (or any related field)
- Proficiency in SAP
- In-depth understanding of Finance
- Prior involvement in Shared Services transitions is beneficial.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Polish or other European languages will be an advantage.
- Experience with internal controls, such as SOX, is beneficial.
- Willing to travel during the Transition phase.
