The role will sit in the team with primarily benefits focus but there may be some compensation work also involved.
Benefits Activities:
- Support in benefits renewal processes, liaising with brokers and ensuring company objectives are met.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the HR navigating benefits-related issues and queries including trouble troubleshooting and resolving benefits-related issues and discrepancies, including working with vendors and employees to address escalated claims, coverage, or billing issues.
- Monitor compliance with benefits policies and conduct periodic audits to ensure data accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Oversee enrolment processes, changes, and terminations in benefits programs.
- Administer and maintain employee benefits records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze data and provide leadership with regular reports to track benefits program utilization, costs, and effectiveness and identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support in providing training materials and communications to educate employees about benefits programs and policy changes.
- Monitor and track provider service levels and address any service-related issues.
- Implement new process improvements to enhance administration efficiency and work with HR systems and IT to scope and deliver automation where possible.
- Ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
Compensation Activities
- The role may be required to support the project teams working on Reward cyclical processes such as merit and bonus, providing high quality analytical support both to the Reward CoE and HR / the business as well as responding to ad hoc requests.
Additional responsibilities
- Involvement in Total Reward development and improvement projects which align to overall objectives and development opportunities.
- Experience in benefits administration, with a strong operational focus
- Strong IT skills across varied range of Microsoft Office applications and in particular Excel to an intermediate/advanced level.
- Proficiency in benefits administration software and tools, as well as experience in managing benefits data.
- Strong analytical abilities are essential for analyzing benefits data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
- Given the global nature of the role, the ability to work effectively with colleagues and employees from various cultural backgrounds is an asset.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- A professional manner and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer focused, passionate about meeting the requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
- The role involves managing complex benefits policies and data, so a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is necessary to avoid errors and discrepancies. Able to use own initiative and prioritise.
