Your key responsibility is to manage regional accounting activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance. You will also strengthen relationships with senior executives and local management on behalf of GBS Finance.

• Lead several accounting teams
• Manage regional accounting activities and statutory/tax reporting
• Maintain and follow up service level agreements (SLA)
• Manage regional element of external and internal audit process
• Actively participate in rolling out Hydro’s finance target operating model for accounting to standardize and improve accounting performance across Europe
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities in R2R processes to reach benchmark level performance
• Partner with business stakeholders to optimize service deliveries, addressing service performance issues and identifying improvement opportunities
• Participation in projects (e.g. S4Hana implementation)

• University degree within finance and/or accounting
• Minimum five years’ experience of accounting management, controlling, management reporting, internal controls and/or IFRS gap management
• Working experience with ERP, preferably including S/4HANA and implementation project
• Advanced level of Excel and database management
• People development skills
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship management skills
• Experience from change management projects
• Fluency in English
