The Support Team Director of HR Shared Services will lead a team ~30 professional HR Shared Services colleagues in our Shared Service Center delivering and managing end to end HR processes. The incumbent will have a key management role in standing up operations in this service center. They will help to build a strong governance and relationships and establish stable, effective, standardized, and controlled process delivery to our internal clients. The role reports into Executive Director, Global Shared Services.
- Leading an internal team of approximately ~30 HR Shared Service Specialists who are accountable for the delivery of internal services to support the full employee lifecycle.
- Ownership of governance structure and communication channels for the service center, partnering with various internal Service Delivery stakeholders, HR business partners and support groups in order to collaboratively deliver a great user experience.
- Coaching and alignment of service center team to assure adherence to agreed service levels (quantitative and qualitative).
- Instilling desired ways of working and applying metrics and analysis to continuously measure delivery performance and process health.
- Development and ownership of a HR Shared Services dashboard
- Strong focus on continuous improvement of service processes within the center and adjacent organizations
- Develop a high performing team by focusing on talent retention, development, and succession planning.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7+ years of experience in a complex multinational business environment, with focus on HR Shared Services
- Stakeholder Management: building and sustaining relationships with key internal stakeholders, support teams and vendors.
- Strong influencing skills – ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at global levels and across functions.
- Strong Process orientation – problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Experience leading a regional / global team for at least 2-3 years.
- Effective training skills and team building capabilities for management of functional tasks within area of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Experience with Workday, Sum Total, S/4 Hana, Service Now, ADP is a plus
