The Lead HR Business Partner is responsible for independently and proactively managing strategic and tactical HR topics by partnering with assigned business unit leaders, you will ensure that employees are treated in an equitable and consistent manner aligned with company policies and practices. By providing a valuable consultative relationship with internal clients and managers, the Lead HRBP designs and delivers key projects involving organizational development, resourcing, ongoing talent management, employee engagement and related HR initiatives while providing day-to-day counsel to managers and employees at all levels of the company.
As the Lead BP, you will be responsible for conducting portfolio and succession planning and internal talent activities for assigned business units. You must be competent to negotiate with vendors and internal stakeholders to acquire resources in support of HR Management team.
You will lead the Request for Quote and Request for Proposal process in collaboration with Senior HR Team Members and Purchasing.
In addition, you will maintain a competence to steer and streamline day to day operations with the MSP for related entities. You will be an expert in conducting and reporting workplace investigations as needed. Lastly, you are the subject matter expert on all HR topics within assigned business unit. You will act as the Deputy for Head of HR Management.
- 7-10 years of increasingly responsible HR Operations experience inclusive of the key Operations HR topics: Associate Relations, HR Management and Talent Identification. Recent experience must primarily focus on Associate Relations and HR Management in a large, multi-location, complex work environment.
- 5-7 years of recent Human Resources experience in Associate Relations or overall HR Management.
- 5-7 years of prior talent acquisition or recruiting experience including 4 years identifying passive talent and talent mining experience.
- 3-5 years of recent Human Resources experience in Compensation and Benefits in a mid to large organization.
- Prior project management experience.
- 2 fiscal year’s budget responsibility
Preferences:
- Knowledge of Federal, State and local employment regulations.
- 3 years recent experience working closely with organized labor.
- Direct or indirect leadership of team members.
- Prior experience leading the vendor selection process including Request for Proposal and Request for Quote.
