The Senior Vendor Manager builds relationships with and drives value from Deloitte’s third party vendors and global internal Delivery Partners.
This role reports to the Senior Manager of non-technology within Vendor Management.
- Lead stakeholders and procurement to develop category plans
- Working with the procurement team to lead on supplier reviews, contract negotiations, tender activities and driving for the optimal commercial structure and performance framework
- Delivering vendor management for the firm across both CBS and the Enabling functions across multiple vendor categories
- Support service owners to drive value from their vendor relationships and contracts and optimise the vendor-base for their services
- Ensure our internal Delivery partners are held to account and provide quality services and value, either through direct UK engagement or working through a regional model
- Driving reporting and insights from various sources of vendor and spend data.
- Working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- Contributing to Vendor Management strategy, developing best practice Vendor Management processes and driving support and buy-in from our wider stakeholder group
- Extensive and current Procurement experience, preferably with facilities management experience
- Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation skills
- A demonstrable contract management skillset
- Ability to review, analyse and interpret data to influence outcomes and drive decisions.
- Proven track record of effective stakeholder management and experience of building strong commercial relationships at all levels.
- Ability to drive the delivery of supplier results within agreed frameworks and parameters.
- Experience and knowledge of supplier relationships and commercial management processes and frameworks including commercial performance management, knowledge of supplier risk management techniques and tools.
- Ability to navigate and influence complex organisations
- Interest in continuous improvement by keeping abreast of market developments and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
