- Develop and implement People strategies that align with business objectives and support the achievement of organizational goals.
- Partner with business leaders to identify and address organizational development needs, including talent assessment, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Lead and inspire the HR Team and give functional direction, ensuring a harmonized approach to all relevant HR processes whilst managing the development of HR team members.
- Drive and support our pursuit of transformational and progressive HR initiatives, while recognizing the backdrop of rapid growth in past 25 years. Give attention to foundational HR matters in sustaining and aligning our people practices with the evolving needs of dynamic organization.
- Revitalize the HR foundation by addressing fundamental HR processes. Focus on establishing robust governance measures and elevate the HR Operations Management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, laying the groundwork for sustained growth and organizational excellence.
- Provide guidance to business units across the organization, ensuring alignment with local laws and regulations and Group’s code of conduct. Address any previous critical audit findings within the HR functions, implement corrective actions with discipline, ensure compliance and fortify the HR practices for a resilient and compliant organizational framework.
- Lead and manage HR centers of expertise namely, Shared Services, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Experience, Total Rewards, Inclusion & Diversity.
- Lead Talent management agenda from shaping, developing, and promoting overall Talent strategy, including global programs to ensure a seamless and consistent implementation.
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and career development opportunities.
- Work closely with Total Rewards team to input, shape, develop and promote overall compensation & benefits programs and ensure seamless and consistent implementation.
- Implement HR Systems in alignment with Group HR.
- Work with management to build a striving and an inclusive work culture and drive the Sustainability Goals.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Present relevant HR updates to the Group leadership on a regular basis.
- Act as a leader and guardian of the culture and values
- Collaborate with other functions in the organization, including Finance department, to plan, present and monitor HR budgets, salary mass, headcount, and other HR KPIs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, leaders, and external partners.
- Master’s degree in HR or a related field
- 15 years of HR experience preferred, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
- Demonstrated operational experience is setting-up and driving HR Processes, Policies and Systems aligned with business objectives
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and statutory requirements within India
- Proven track record of leading HR teams and driving employee engagement and retention initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Fluency in English (and other Indian languages will be a plus)
