Job Title: Group Finance Director

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Manchester

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

• Oversee all financial activities of the group
• Lead and manage a large finance team
• Develop financial strategies and plans
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Prepare financial reports for senior management
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters

Required Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance
• Experience of managing large EMEA Shared Service Centres
• Ideally have experience of working for a listed business
• Have experience of overseeing various finance functions, raning from commercial and reporting professionals to MI and transactional professionals
• Ideally come from a Big 4 background

Knowledge And Skills

• Expertise in managing financial operations
• Ability to lead and motivate a finance team
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of shared service centre operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance or related field
• Experience working in a large EMEA Shared Service Centre
