Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT) will provide visionary leadership and oversight for all aspects of information technology. This critical role is responsible for developing and implementing IT strategy and roadmaps, managing IT operations, ensuring system reliability and security, fostering innovation, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. This includes recommending and implementing new systems and infrastructure to improve operations, care delivery, analytics, and reporting. The VP of IT will embody a culture of collaboration and high performance to elevate the use of technology at the organization.
- Develop and execute the technology vision, strategy, budgets, policies, and processes in alignment with the mission and values of the organization
- Oversee major technology initiatives, including new system implementations, upgrades and process redesigns
- Oversee processes and manage relationships related to 3rd party technology partners, vendors, tools, and services
- Establish IT policies, governance practices, operating models and shared services strategies
- Build a high-performing IT culture focused on deliverables, innovation and exceptional service
- Foster collaborative relationships with leaders across clinical, operational, and administrative functions
- Represent IT in executive leadership discussions related to new business opportunities and partnerships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and clinical technology standards and requirements
- Manage IT capital and operating budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services and projects
- As a member of the Leadership Team, serve as an organizational champion for the company’s work on Diversity, Equity and Racial Justice

Required Skills:
- 10+ years of IT leadership experience at healthcare delivery networks or payers
- Record of success leading large, complex technology programs on time and budget
- Expertise across clinical, back-office and infrastructure technologies supporting healthcare
- Experience implementing EHR, revenue cycle, analytics and other critical systems
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into execution
- Passion for leveraging technology to improve care delivery and operations

- Familiarity with the MassHealth ACO program
- Familiarity with Federally Qualified Health Centers
- Experience with anti-racism activities, and/or lived experience with racism is highly preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business or Healthcare Administration highly desired
- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
