• Negotiate electronic trading agreements, brokerage services agreements, commission sharing agreements, environmental brokerage services agreements, NDAs, and introducing broker agreements.
• Primary sales and trading legal coverage for BGC, including Fenics, and GFI entities.
• Review licensing requirements to approve cross-border transactions.
• Work closely with business, compliance, legal risk, and operations to facilitate new business while appropriating and managing risk.
• Provide guidance on new products and businesses.
• Back-up coverage for negotiating prime brokerage agreements, Master Repurchase Agreements, Master Securities Lending Agreements, and ISDAs.
• Role is based in NYC as part of the Sales and Trading Legal team.

Qualifications:

• 5- 10 years of legal experience, preferably with in-house legal experience.
• The successful candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative team player, who thrives in a dynamic, exciting environment, fitting with the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit.
