The purpose of the role is to partner with line management to provide general Human Resources (HR) related consultation, support, service, and guidance to Hilti employees and management groups. Key areas of responsibility include line management support/coaching, employee development, strategic recruiting, legal compliance, people development/succession planning and organizational development in support of Hilti’s business objectives, strategic initiatives and organizational priorities.
The role involves managing and implementing local HR projects as well as assisting in regional HR initiatives.
- Translate business strategy into actionable people initiatives for the team
- Develop and implement together with Talent Acquisition team strategies for talent attraction and hiring, aligning with Hilti’s 80% internal promotion approach
- Facilitate talent discussions, performance calibration, and succession planning with leadership teams to ensure current and future competencies
- Challenge and support leaders in developing and delivering effective people plans and organizational/structural developments, acting as a change agent for employee engagement including internal communications strategy to accompany processes, adapting information to the right levels
- Collaborate with other HR functions to share best practices, deliver value-added solutions, and implement core HR initiatives
- Utilize HR analytics for data-driven insights, monitoring key metrics and trends for continuous improvement
- Coach team leaders on people-related matters and ensure adherence to HR processes and standards at the management level
- Contribute to the regional HR community through participation involving in projects such as DEI, Total Rewards, and Skill Management, expanding HR competencies beyond the immediate area of responsibility
- Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, HR, Psychology, or related field is required
- English professional proficiency is mandatory
- Minimum of +7 years of HR experience, ideally within an international matrix organization, showcasing a comprehensive grasp of various HR disciplines and a proven track record in managing strategic HR initiatives and team management experiences
- Shared service center / COEs environment experience is required, specifically implementing projects at a regional scale
- Strong influencing & communication skills and drive to achieve the goals, with main focus on peers & Up. Ability to simplify complex ideas in a more comprehensive way
- Capability to deliver excellent consulting to business leaders and a passion for supporting and enabling the organization’s people objectives
- Proven experience in drafting and articulating communications, policies, processes and reports
- Analytical and conceptual skills coupled with a hands-on mentality and a proactive can-do attitude
- HR ERP experience. Workday knowledge is a Plus
