As a Senior Global Payroll Process Expert on our Shared Services Team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient global payroll operations. Responsibilities include fostering a culture of excellence, improving processes, and maintaining high methodology standards. The Global Payroll Partner will collaborate with local Payroll Specialists to design payroll system changes.
- Managing and enhancing end-to-end payroll processes globally.
- Identifying and implementing best practices to streamline payroll operations, supporting the operational workload from a process perspective to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of payroll.
- Managing complex cases and process escalations, overseeing communication and ensuring complete resolution.
- Building strong partnerships across the HR community and cross-functionally to optimize services for employees and managers.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for any business-critical needs from the Executive team.
- Ensuring the consistent and timely management of payroll-related Case Management cases, meeting SLAs/KPIs.
- Partnering with external vendors to uphold high-quality outcomes and promptly address issues, proactively identifying root causes to prevent future occurrences.
- Initiating and spearheading global payroll harmonization projects and vendor transitions.
- Supporting the establishment and driving global compliance and audit initiatives, ensuring all processes and functional areas have the correct approvals and supporting documentation to maintain compliance standards suitable for a publicly listed company.
- Embracing a mindset of challenging conventional approaches, utilizing your knowledge of the business and the evolving digital landscape to drive innovative solutions and gain valuable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
- Extensive experience in global payroll management and process improvement.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive results in a complex, matrixed organization.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with digital transformation and innovation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Certification in payroll management or related field is a plus.
- Experience and solid understanding of Payroll Model, LTI and audit process
- Workday experience highly desirable
- ‘Hands-on’ approach with an eye for details and completion
- Languages – English and any other European Language is a strong plus.
