We are seeking a candidate capable of covering both business controlling and accounting topics.

• Leading a team of five Heads of Finance who are responsible for the country finance functions. Oversee the countries financials, profitability, cash flow, balance sheet and compliance.
• Be the business partner to the Country Leadership. This is a joint responsibility with the local Heads Finance, who are the first go-to person for the local business.
• Support and challenge the preparation of rolling-forecasts performed by the local teams, review monthly results, analyse deviations and support the definition of measures for improvement.
• Be an active part of the budgeting process (preparation and review) together with the CEE controller and the local Heads of Finance.
• Ensure compliance to IFRS, the Swo group accounting policies and to the Swo internal-control system.
• Be part of the development of the future finance organization in CEE, implementation of the new finance operating model, finalize the shared service center migrations and implement efficient and state of the art finance processes
• Lead, support and develop the local Heads of Finance and their team members
• Lead and oversee projects like Navision introduction, FSSC migrations, closure of subsidiaries and comparable.
• Manage stakeholders inside and outside finance (local and regional leadership, legal, delivery centers, finance shared service centers, group finance functions, auditors, etc).

• University degree in economics or comparable.
• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience as a senior in finance, several years’ experience in a finance leadership function.
• Strong background in Business Controlling, experience how to run a finance department.
• Capabilities to further develop the local finance organization and to oversee and steer projects.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills, accepted partner of the business organization.
• Place of residence in Warsaw, Poland with fluent in English (writing and speaking).
• Willingness to accept Board-Member/company director roles & responsibilities in several countries.
