Under the authority of the Director General of Services, you will collaborate with the elected representatives (vice-presidents, and particularly the first of them who is the Mayor of Bischwiller). You will be able to rely on the operational departments and will be a member of the General Management.
As DGS of the town of Bischwiller, you will be responsible for managing all municipal services, preparing and implementing the decisions of elected officials. You will manage the administration and do everything possible to bring municipal projects to fruition. You will ensure the necessary resources and budgetary balances to achieve this. The Mayor’s first collaborator, you will be a force for proposals and will ensure the relay between elected officials and services. Bischwiller is the second town in the Haguenau Urban Community. This EPCI, which brings together 36 municipalities and 100,000 inhabitants, employs more than 1,000 agents. It exercises a large number of compulsory powers or by delegation from the municipalities. At the Haguenau Urban Community, according to the guidelines set by the President and elected officials, you will be responsible for instigating, monitoring and implementing certain public policies. - Mastery of the institutional, administrative, budgetary and political functioning of local authorities,
- Solid knowledge of political, social and societal issues in communities,
- Great efficiency in action, with a demonstrated ability to achieve set objectives and to innovate,
- Proven knowledge and experience in management and project management,
- Communication and interpersonal relations skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with elected officials, agents, institutional actors, external partners, etc.
