OSI Optoelectronics is seeking a Senior Director Finance, Group Controller who will plan and manage the finance and accounting functions of the Optoelectronics Group. This individual will manage and report operational and financial results along with other key performance measurements. As well as provide financial leadership including input on strategic, financial and operational objectives.
- Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports, including monthly profit and loss forecast by department (vs. budget); sales forecasts; expense budgets; cost standards; savings opportunities; and capital investment. Provide analysis of financial results and develop recommendations (strategic and tactical).
- Oversee the accounting department/Shared Services to ensure proper management of all accounting systems and function; including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, billing and project costing. Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.
- Monitor and manage credit and collections activities, including development and enforcement of credit and collection policies and procedures.
- Play a key role in the development and attainment of the corporate strategy including the monitoring on such strategy. Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the company’s long-term strategy.
- Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the executive leadership team and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
- Develop short and long-range operating objectives, organization structure and staffing requirements for finance and accounting. Develop the performance management process with direct reports.

- BS Degree in Finance or related field required; MBA and/or CPA desired.
- 10+ years’ experience working as a financial leader.
- Experience working in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
- Experience working with information technology staff to manage finance and accounting systems.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with internal and external customers.
