The role is business critical, as part of the UK HR Services Leadership team you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our UK Local Shared Service (LSS), including Benefits and HR Systems for our 13,000 + employees, reporting into the UK HR Shared Services Director within the Capgemini Core Services.

Managing a team of 12, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and running of the LSS, Benefits and HR systems teams. A self-starter who is eager to learn, is proactive, motivated, and collaborative, you will:

  • Have strong experience in leading and delivering change management and taking complex teams and stakeholders on the journey with you.
  • Work collaboratively to align activities with the wider HR function to provide a best-in-class service to key stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for embedding and evolving our newly formed LSS team to meet the changing needs of the business. In this role you will also act as UK Client Relationship Manager, reviewing Global Shared Service (GSS) delivery, be a point of escalation and look at ways to evolve the LSS and GSS offerings over time.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of our employee benefits programs, ensuring our benefits are competitive, cost effective and aligned to the needs of our diverse workforce. You will work closely with our DE&I team to align around health and wellbeing priorities.
  • Lead and manage our HR system team across a complex portfolio of local and global systems, ensuring they are fit for purpose, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Produce high quality data to support our data approach to people management. Continually reviewing and developing infrastructure, policies, and controls processes required to meet regulatory, strategic, and operational requirements via Audits, Management Information, and reports.
  • Highly experienced people manager who can drive performance, delegate, and prioritise workload
  • Ability to make recommendations in a skillful, authentic way and have excellent influencing skills
  • Able to draft written communications that combine ease of reading with technical clarity; and present to a HR and other key business stakeholders
  • Have strong analytical skills and be able to gather and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions
  • Experience of evaluating and selecting benefit vendors and service providers based on cost-effectiveness, quality of service and alignment to business needs.
  • Have worked with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors do ensure favorable terms and conditions for Capgemini and its employees. Including management of vendor relationships and performance.
