The Senior Manager position is a key Leadership role in the GBS (Global Business Services) shared services organization on the Source to Pay Global Process (GP) Excellence team. We are the team to unite functions (e.g. GBS Service Delivery, Global Sourcing, IT, Finance, Tax, Legal) to achieve our transformation roadmap to offer leading STP experiences to unlock value for BSC, our suppliers and 10K+ shoppers.
We are seeking:
An experienced People Leader with a proven track record to manage, teach and coach global resources: Ariba Product Owner, Project Managers, Source to Pay Capability Delivery Leads, Source to Pay Reporting and Automation Developers, and Change Management Analyst.
A seasoned Program/Project Manager who will be responsible for SAP Ariba Product Management, STP Digital Transformation & Integrations, system controls, and STP value governance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for elevating resources on his/her/their team to be high performing, delivering strategic transformation and run-state capabilities to enable scalability, digitally transform and optimize STP processes to be future-ready.
- Lead a high-performing, customer-centric team responsible for Product Delivery and Digital and Process Transformation Delivery. Own the end-to-end global operating model (people, process, and technology/ automation) and service delivery.
- Serve as a member of the STP leadership team, helping shape GBS strategies and representing GBS with key business stakeholders across the region and/or function.
- Enhance customer experience by partnering with stakeholders to identify and provide solutions for desired current and future business outcomes.
- Engage team by developing/ maintaining inclusive, collaborative, high performance culture by listening, coaching, and developing team members. Promote a culture of outstanding capability delivery and continuous improvement. The resources directly reporting into this rôle are located in EMEA, Americas and APAC and include the SAP Ariba Product Owner, Project Managers, Source to Pay Capability Delivery Leads, Change Management Analysts, and Source to Pay Reporting and Automation Developers.
- Understand and incorporate industry best practices for Source to Pay, agile product ownership, digital transformation, project management, and capability deployment incorporating the best industry solutions to meet enterprise needs.
- Ensure process-specific, stakeholder aligned key performance indicators (KPIs) are adhered to and engage in root cause analysis of performance issues when they arise.
- Develop and execute business plans, manage headcount/ budget/P&L, and contribute to the long-term strategy of the organization.
- Define/ execute strategy roadmap (including investment decisions) with key functional stakeholders for the global payroll capability.
- Manage STP Controls related to SAP Ariba & STP systems and data privacy, e.g. managing user access, approving critical system roles.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the global process, technology and operating models and sponsor/govern related projects, especially integration & automation projects. (examples: rolling out SAP Ariba to new entities, Invoice Ingestion using RPA and OCR, system integrations to SAP Ariba such as Vertex, BMRam, IQVIA and Citizen Development)
- Enable change to drive adoption and realize benefits of new strategies and initiatives.
- Ensure the organization complies with all internal policies, legal regulations, internal controls, and audit guidelines.
- Relationship & escalation manager with IT, Product Team, GBS (Global Business Services, a shared service organization) Service Delivery and Intelligent Automation Leaders, Global Sourcing, Quality, 3rd party vendors
- Create and present impactful presentations and value stories for Executive Leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years progressive Source to Pay/shared services/ global business services experience with proven success in large multi-national company
- 5+ years advancing people leadership; inspiring and developing team members to achieve their full potential in pursuit of development and organizational objectives.
- Proven international executive relationship management through collaboration and influence across reporting lines of key stakeholders to drive alignment.
- Proven experience with project management, product management, and system implementation methodologies. Preferred: agile execution experience.
- Fluent in English.
