LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated VP of Accounting to join a global organization. This search is exclusive to LHH and a full-time direct hire position. This opportunity will require once a month travel to the Southeast US, but this role will otherwise be remote.

The VP of Accounting will report to a global leader and this role will be responsible for change management and providing strong leadership for shared services and treasury teams. The position requires the applicant to have Big 4 Public Accounting experience, CPA designation and exceptional communication skills.

• month-end financial statement preparation processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency with company policies
• the operations of the accounting and operational treasury teams (shared services)
• strategies for effecting and controlling change within the organization
• strategies for effecting and controlling change within the organization
• strong and collaborative leadership to direct (4) and indirect reports (50)
• financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• with external and internal auditors
• in annual budget and forecast
• with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
• professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
