Based in our HR Shared Services, you’ll be a key member of the Senior Management Team. Pay and reward is critical to our employee offering and a key deliverable to the success of the Shared Services.
- Overseeing the delivery of an accurate payroll of c11,000 employees, leading a fantastic team of over 21 people and partnering with our Reward Centre of Excellence to deliver critical reward initiatives.
- Continuous review of our existing payroll & reward services to deliver a clear roadmap for the future
- Accountable for delivering all key cyclical projects working alongside the Project Management Office
- Responsible for ensuring we are fully compliant with legislation and associated agreements
- Review procedures to enhance greater efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Previous leadership experience within a payroll & reward function and have ideally operated within a Shared Service Centre capacity.
- A passion for Payroll & Reward with a people focused approach.
- A degree qualification (CIPP, or equivalent) with demonstrable experience of complex payrolls (weekly and monthly) and a good understanding of UK payroll legislation and the legal and statutory requirements.
- An innate ability to successfully lead, manage and influence a team within a results-driven culture and execute a vision of operating an exceptional payroll and reward service
- Proven track record of communicating and influencing across a range of audiences internally and externally.
