We at KONE Business Services (KBS) are looking for a (senior) project manager to play a key role in driving our strategic projects, transitions, and cross-functional initiatives. Our ambition is to become the next generation GBS organization, and the realization of our initiative roadmap is what stands between today and our desired future state.

• Plan, prepare and execute KBS projects, transitions and cross-functional initiatives following the existing transformation methodology.
• Provide timely and insightful project status updates and steer the projects accordingly.
• Ensuring projects are well planned, documented and documentation is visible to stakeholders, ensure lessons learned are clearly captured.
• Maintain strong collaboration within the KBS Operations team, as well as with Area Business Line, Functions and Process Owners and Area process experts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing transformation methodology by sharing ideas, expertise and time to make it better

Expectations:

• Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects/deliverables with competing deadlines to successful completion (i.e., in a quality and timely manner) is key.
• Understanding and experience of working at least in one of the following disciplines: finance, procurement, controlling or IT
• Proactive in nature, actively participates and self-motivated. Biased towards action and possessing a growth mindset
• Great teammate willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done
• Clear communicator, able to explain project benefits, plans, status and impact across the organization. Ability to structure and present quantitative and qualitative data in a compelling and convincing fashion adapted to the audience; strong writing, presentation, and communication skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills allowing effective collaboration across all functions with various levels of stakeholders
• Curiosity and drive to succeed: individually and as a team; willingness to learn and lead by doing
• Knowledge of budgeting, GBS industry, benefits identification and realization is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Willingness to travel as required by the projects

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or from a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in project management, with proven business results

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in business administration, engineering or from a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in project management, ideally leading global cross-functional projects such as transitions, quality or development within the shared services environment
• Certified project management professional (PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM) preferred
• Lean and Six Sigma Training/certification preferred.
