As Global Lead of Tax (all genders), you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Group while working closely with various stakeholders across the Group.
The Global Lead of Tax is execution driven, takes ownership and prioritizes projects and tasks with a global, corporate view on the business activities and pushing things forward in accordance with strong monitoring and management advise. With the preference to work in fast pace, multinational environments, yet creative and technology driven individuals, and with very close contact to the management team you have the flexibility to navigate challenging situations in a competent and confident way You are characterised by absolute adherence to deadlines, organisational talent and the ability to reduce complexity. You maintain a holistic overview and are able to assess the tax risks and concerns of the entire group.
CHALLENGE
- Development of processes and the implementation of ever new requirements in a rapidly changing enviroment
- Coordination with the tax authorities and audits (GK, BZST, Payroll audit)
- Ability to adapt to German and international requirements
- Coordination with external advisors
- Passion for the topic of taxes
- Several years of extensive experience in tax and first experience in guiding junior colleagues in an efficient and respectful manner
- Specific knowledge and experience in national and international tax law
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new requirements
- A solid understanding of interactions between tax measures and requirements
- Ideally, you are a tax consultant or at least have several years of experience in a comparable position
- Good presentation and communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex tax related information to non-finance colleagues
- Fluent in German and English, spoken and written
