• Service responsibility in the area of ​​virtualization
• Technical and financial responsibility for the service lifecycle as well as for defining the strategy and supporting the service design
• Support and participation in customer projects in the area of ​​virtualization based on VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation
• Ensuring and verifying the promised delivery and service obligations
• Coordination of all service providers involved in the service offering
• Financial and investment planning and calculation of offers
• Documentation, knowledge building and transfer within the organizational unit

• Completed IT-related studies with at least two years of professional experience or training with at least five years of professional experience
• Several years of experience in a comparable role in IT service management
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, Aria Suite, NSX and Cloud Foundation
• Interest and knowledge of cloud technologies is an advantage
• Experience in the government/German armed forces environment and ITIL knowledge with appropriate certification is an advantage
• Independent work, methodical, economical and solution-oriented thinking and action, initiative, ability to change and make decisions
• Communicative team playing with empathy, social skills, commitment and ability to motivate others
• Fluent in German and good English skills
• Willingness to travel within Germany
