Mainly supervising and managing the PH SSC office finance staff.
The Primary Indicator Will Be
Duties performed within strict timelines; Assist the team to stay on top of No Backlog; Supervise and manager SSC PH Finance Team Secondary indicators will include:; Accuracy of completion of duties; and Clear, concise communications internally & externally
- Lead and manage the PH SSC Finance staff by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals and monitor progress towards achieving them.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end closing processes.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial transactions and records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, optimize efficiencies, and enhance the quality and timeliness of financial services and support.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of financial operations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business units, and senior management, to understand their requirements and priorities, and deliver timely and relevant financial information and analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulatory authorities, and vendors, to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth interactions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies, and communicate updates and changes to the finance team as necessary.
- Identify and assess financial risks and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial integrity and reputation of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or relevant professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or shared services roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with experience in financial reporting, analysis, and controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, managing change, and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to commute/relocate in Angeles City, Pampanga
