The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.
GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.
About the team
General Manager, GBS and the leadership team is looking for an individual to join them and help them maximise their effectiveness and impact by partnering with them on daily operations as well as strategic initiatives.
- Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of the General Manager and leadership team
- Assist and communicate with leaders in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
- Develop and build relationships with the organisation and help keep a pulse on the climate and mood of the organisation
- Act as translator and business advisor in external meetings and social business engagements
- Be the General Manager’s personal timekeeper, orchestrating schedule and planning essential travels and engagements , both internal and external.
- Perform administrative tasks such as managing calendars, generating correspondence, maintaining hard copies and electronic files, planning and coordinating annual meetings, and scheduling facilities
- Ensure high productivity of the leadership team. Help keep meetings focused and suggest measures to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify areas of improvement across the organization and make actionable recommendations.
- Set key performance indicators in collaboration with the leadership team to measure and drive a holistic approach to business and organisation growth.
- Help lead and organise meetings, offsites and workshops with meticulous planning and coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in business management, strategy and operations or executive roles
- Experience juggling multiple projects and priorities
- Experience engaging with and aligning multiple stakeholders; ability to influence with limited authority
- Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Experience in data analyses and comfortable using numbers for supporting decision making
- Written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
- Flexibility to adapt to fast changing priorities and comfortable with a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration or similar field
- Management Consulting experience
- Previous experience as Program Manager
