Booking Holdings is currently undergoing a Finance Transformation initiative that will drive effective finance support for business management; promote strong governance and control in the organization; and have a world-class finance organization in terms of execution and efficiency.

As part of this transformation program, Booking Holdings has opened 2 shared service centers (Centers of Excellence – is the BHI term) providing services across a multitude of functions, such as Finance, IT, Cyber Security, and Payments.

• Responsible for helping to extend and develop the overall culture of the GBS organization
• Supporting management to ensure we are achieving and delivering our hiring objectives
• Accountable for building and maintaining team engagement , building a culture of strong communications, transparency, openness, and trust
• Assist in developing management team, providing feedback, coaching, and ensuring career plans, training, and development are in place
• Communicating status of the global program to include engagement, performance, and other accomplishments of the team
• Partner with GBS Leadership team to assist in deploying new tools and driving continuous improvements – alongside GPO team (Global Process Owners)
• Coordinate events locally to foster increased collaboration across local teams, and brands
• Assist in overall budgeting process, including tracking of costs and associated benefits in COE hiring
• Provide oversight and strong guidance towards transition management teams and assist in overseeing work migrating into the center , documentation process, work shadowing, and overall transition – ensure a smooth and successful transition of work
• Advise on structure and framework for process documentation, standards, and common ways of working (down to naming conventions, version controls, and building an overall culture of operational excellence into the organization)
• Partner with head of COEs and COE leadership teams to ensure consistency and leading practices continue to be adopted across finance , technology, communications, and overall growth and performance of the center
• Advise on new tools, technology, and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness

• 20+ years of total work experience (Business leadership roles)
• Leading large scale Global Business Services organizations, including captive service delivery center or as Business Process Outsourcing client lead
• Leadership of large teams in Finance and Accounting processes such as record to report, order to cash, procure to pay, tax, and others
• Leadership and development of Program Management Offices , Process Excellence and Transformation, and Master Data functions
• Understanding and experience in ERP implementations, ideally SAP S4 Hana
• Experience overseeing month end closing processes
• Familiar with US GAAP and financial accounting and reporting
• Familiar with SOX and Internal Control Environments
