As a Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the product roadmap for the licensing systems for Gen’s consumer security brands, including Norton and Avast. The role involves identifying new pain points customers have, business opportunities, understanding, and managing incoming requests. An important part of the role is regularly engaging with tactical stakeholders to ensure the company strategy aligns with the licensing systems strategy, while maintaining a holistic view of the customer experience.

Requirements management: Create, gather, and curate product requirements to support customer and commercial targets.

Exploring & Solutioning: Exploring possible technical/non-technical solutions for challenges, usually in a brainstorming form with internal stakeholders and other impacted parties/enterprise architects. Landing on a reasonable compromise from value/complexity standpoint.

Briefing technical teams: Picking up one or a couple of solutions and framing it as a suitable form diagram/chart that depicts human & technological touchpoints. Explanation of the initiative to team on actual use cases, with impact on customers and/or business so the team can design the right technical solution. Continuous support to developers and architects for questions and newly discovered cases.

Prioritization & Planning: Setting the priority for development team based on criteria like business value, effort, dependencies, commitments etc. Quarterly roadmap preparation and alignment across stakeholders. Trade-offs and escalation mitigations when needed.

Coordination & orchestration: End-to-end ownership of initiatives, ensuring dependencies alignment, trade-off negotiations and cross functional team synchronization, in cooperation with other Product and Program Managers.

Customer knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of and empathy with the community of our target users and identify opportunities for enhancement.

5 or more years of product management experience in digital services, software development, e-commerce, or related area

Proven record of delivery of products, projects, initiatives, or tickets

Experience with digital subscription business preferred

Experience in working with cross-functional teams to define and build features that exceed customer expectations

Technical understanding, ability to effectively communicate with backend teams and come up with solutions

A creative and flexible approach to problem-solving and finding innovative ways to overcome roadblocks to get things done

Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders from different fields (commercial, design, engineering)

Ability to foster continuous learning, teamwork, and cross-functional alignment

Strong planning and organization skills, ability to prioritize and keep focus

Experience in design thinking principles and methodologies to drive innovative product solutions

Ability to release product changes iteratively, ensuring the most effective delivery of value

Proficiency in foundational technical concepts such as data interchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML), APIs, and UML sequence diagrams.
