The Medical Records Supervisor helps us meet our goal of successfully overseeing the daily activity of the Medical Records Specialist and Senior Medical Records Specialist. As a leader in the Medical Records Department, this leader supervises a team of 10-25 Medical Records Specialists tasked with delivering efficient, high-quality, and timely scanning and uploading of medical records into patient charts.

• Ensures all Medical records Specialists have the appropriate training, and resources to perform their roles.
• Meets productivity and quality expectations through the daily direction and delegation from the Manager.
• Monitors and reports daily Medical Records Specialist productivity, Canopy medical records worklists repair, and task lists on a daily basis. Responds to emails, posed by outside medical facilities and care teams, in a manner that is timely, professional, and generates trust.
• Actively contributes to workflow development and process improvement in support of departmental standards and strategic directives.
• Responsible for reporting daily outages and updates on Medical Records Specialist workflow.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• 10 years of experience with medical records processes in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
