The Director of Shared services oversees and manages the shared services team which includes Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable to include billing, collections, revenue and cash application with potential future expansion into other functional areas. This position reports directly to the SVP Accounting and offers a unique opportunity to lead and transform these shared services during a period of significant expansion.

• Develop and execute strategies to support the company’s growth objectives and scalability initiatives.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders, develop service level agreements, performance targets, and metrics, fostering a culture of proactive performance management to drive efficiencies, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Implement technology solutions to automate repetitive tasks.
• Create an environment that attracts and retains high quality talent.
• Provide guidance/leadership to and serve as a resource of knowledge for the shared services team members.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and other leaders.
• Implement governance practices to ensure compliance and continuity of services.
• Establish or augment strong internal controls and roll out processes to ensure compliance.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience in management.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Prior experience with data centers, real estate investment trusts (REITs), or real estate development is preferred, including straight-line revenue recognition and lease modification under ASC 842.
• Prior experience with complex legal business structures, ideally REIT structures, is strongly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
