Also providing guidance & training to other team members. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure readiness for month end activities, adherence to cut offs and completeness of all entries done by the team.
- Ensure integrity of balance sheet transactions and statutory compliance
- Ensure team alignment to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals.
- Identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility and propose potential solutions
- You will need to flag risks to clients and Accenture stakeholders and propose action plans where needed.

- Minimum of Graduate / Postgraduate in Accounts with relevant 8-9 years of experience (bachelor’s degree in accounting) Good communication and presentation skills.
- Understands US Accounting principles and procedures (Including FASB standards e.g., ASC 842 for leases).
- Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Flexibility to work with different countries (time-zones), groups, and business environment
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and / or Project would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Google tools would be an advantage.
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud systems would be an advantage.
- Working experience of Power BI, Power Automate will be preferred
- Decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication rigor to ensure increased visibility with the client organization.
- Transformative Mindset, Experience in Automation & Digitization.
- Good working knowledge on Month end closing; inter co process; bank reconciliations, cash management and cash accounting; fixed assets processes.
- Require analytical skills and should be able to perform detailed analysis on aged open items and provide proposal to clear the open items.
- Understanding of US Healthcare systems or lease accounting is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure & flexibility to meet demanding deadlines is essential.
