Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller, the Shared Services Manager’s primary function is to provide overall leadership and direction to shared accounting service including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the Company’s Travel & Expense (T&E) functions. This role will drive the Finance function forward through the achievement of targeted metrics related to days sales outstanding, days payable outstanding and T&E policy compliance. This position is responsible for designing and implementing best in-class operational practices and drive standardization and automation of processes.
- Management and technical oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and T&E processes including leadership of approximately 10 individual contributors.
- Lead, drive and influence a continuous improvement expectation to streamline processes and document standard work.
- Build and maintain a compliance mindset to ensure adherence to public company controls and standards.
- Communicate to Executive Team various key performance indicators including days sales outstanding, days payable outstanding, and T&E policy compliance.
- Collaborate with Legal, Master Data and Cost Center Owners to ensure delegation of authority matrix is up-to-date and spend controls are understood across the business.
- Proactively address accounts receivable aging with accounting team to monitor allowance and bad debt calculations.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure the optimization of the Purchase to Pay process.
- Collaborate with sales and billing teams to resolve price and billing related discrepancies
- Analyze vendor spend, payment terms and ad-hoc issues with numerous partners across the business.
- Oversee refinements to T&E Policy and confirm T&E system is current, along with supporting necessary change management to the organization.
- Supervise and maintain effective internal controls in accordance with SOX 404 requirements, including challenging and updating controls that best align with changes in systems and the business.
- Assist and support the quarterly and annual audit.
- Lead and/or participate in various special projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting/finance roles, including 5+ years of experience specific to the shares services area of accounts payable, accounts receivable and travel and expenses (T&E).
- Exceptional leadership skills. Demonstrated history of managing and developing staff.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to evaluate data and present solutions to solve business issues.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills with effective follow through.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, without losing attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in large accounting software (SAP or similar ERP experience), T&E systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.
