Operational Management:

  • Lead the daily operations of the SSC, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with SLAs.
  • Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Implement best practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of SSC professionals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve accuracy.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a point of contact for internal customers, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of SSC services with business needs.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review performance and gather feedback.

Process Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks and ensure data security.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential issues.

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems and other business software.
  • Strong understanding of finance, HR, IT, and procurement processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma or Lean certification.
  • Experience in implementing automation tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to shared services.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in shared services operations or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management.
