Operational Management:
- Lead the daily operations of the SSC, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and in accordance with SLAs.
- Monitor and manage workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Implement best practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of SSC professionals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve accuracy.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a point of contact for internal customers, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of SSC services with business needs.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to review performance and gather feedback.
Process Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks and ensure data security.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and address potential issues.
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and other business software.
- Strong understanding of finance, HR, IT, and procurement processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma or Lean certification.
- Experience in implementing automation tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to shared services.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shared services operations or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and project management.
