In joining RWS’s Finance team you will be a critical part of supporting a listed world-leading provider of technology-enabled language, content, and intellectual property services. RWS has growing revenues of over £750m through a combination of value accretive acquisitions and organic growth. Group finance, led by our Group CFO; Candy Davies, includes diverse teams across the globe operating in functions including business partnering, operational finance, specialist, and group functions. We cover a footprint of over 100 legal entities in 43 different countries worldwide.
- We are starting a whole new service centre, so you’ll have a unique opportunity to apply your creativity and shape the design of both processes and teams
- Lead the teams handling R2R processes and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of R2R SSC operations from Brno to dedicated RWS locations globally
- Act as key contact to handle complex cases, advisory to delivery teams
- Direct period close and consolidation
- Drive continuous improvement of the R2R processes – process standardization, process automation, KPIs set up
- Control service management for R2R processes
- People management – providing feedback and mentoring to the team members
- We will count on your advice and support on complex business/technical issues, in cooperation with the wider leadership group
- Leadership experience, ideally within the R2R function
- 5+ years general management service delivery experience in R2R SSC operations, with a track record of managing and transforming large teams
- 5+ years of experience in business transformation and/or outsourcing models
- Strong English language skills
- Qualified accountant (AAT/CIMA/ACCA/ACA or global equivalent) or qualified by experience with minimum 5 years PQE
- Working knowledge of core finance systems, ERP and related specialty functional systems, frameworks, and functionality
- Strong understanding of finance business processes, accounting policies, and statutory accounting principles to ensure compliant shared services operations
