Our client is a global leader in creative transformation, with a presence in over 110 countries. They are seeking an experienced Record to Report (RTR) Manager to join their team in Damansara. What you’ll do:

  • As an RTR Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing the overall operations of the RTR function.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising the RTR team, ensuring quality delivery of services while adhering to standards, policies, and procedures.
  • You will also oversee month-end RTR processes, manage system reconciliations, provide advice on RTR-related matters, perform people management duties, and act as a project lead for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise the RTR team, ensuring accurate and timely recording, collection, and processing of all general accounting and reporting activities
  • Oversee month-end RTR process to ensure timely completion of closing and reporting
  • Manage and coordinate the reconciliation of respective systems
  • Provide RTR related advice and information to staff across the organization as required
  • Perform people management responsibilities including planning & assigning tasks, team performance appraisal, coaching, and career development
  • Act as project lead for continuous improvement opportunities within existing processes
  • The ideal candidate for this RTR Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance and accounting. With at least 10 years’ experience in General Ledger and Reporting functions under your belt, you have honed your skills in these areas.
  • Your minimum of 3-5 years’ supervisory experience demonstrates your ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Your experience working in a shared service center environment has equipped you with unique insights into this sector.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems is essential for this role, as is fluency in written and spoken English.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, and professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA etc.)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in General Ledger and Reporting functions
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a shared service centre environment
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems
  • Fluent written and spoken English
