Talance Group is a Houston-based boutique executive search firm specializing in the placement of Financial and Accounting, Information Technology, and Human Resources professionals on a direct-hire as well as contract consulting/project basis.

• Directly manage two shared service employees and activities within the department and coordinate the implementation of process improvements and accounting controls.
• Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and supporting reports and ensures integrity and quality of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Directs and Performs Month-End Close functions. Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers and operating expenses.
• Submits budget information and analyzes data versus year-to-date data and prior-year budgets.

• Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar area of study
• 7 years of relevant work experience
• CPA certification
• Previous experience in a shared services environment is preferred
• Process improvements/ Transformations
