The Director, HR Operations will be responsible for leading HR Shared Services and HRIS administration. You will develop scalable programs, processes, and systems that are consistent with internal policies, external regulations, and company values. The position focuses on executing key transactional and compliance activities across the employee life cycle; maintaining and enhancing the core HR, payroll, and workforce management systems; and providing the highest level of customer service to employees.
- Develop the strategy and standard procedures for employee life cycle processes
- Organize and maintain clean employee data and files
- Lead execution for compliant onboarding and offboarding; unemployment administration; I9 administration; background checks; and job change transactions
- Oversee management of inquiries to HR@myeyedr.com using ticketing tool
- Govern administration of the HRIS, including appropriate internal controls and audits as well as inter-system file feeds and technical integrations
- Project manage HRIS enhancements, new features, release prep, and requirements for compliance
- Continuously drive process improvement and efficiency initiatives to increase service quality, reduce manual, complex processes, and introduce automation
- Build a metrics-driven organization that leverages reporting, dashboards, and SLA tracking to provide actionable insight on service delivery, operational accuracy, and effectiveness
- Troubleshoot issues with employee data, HRIS workflows, and system integrations in partnership with the business and IT
- Manage relationships with all vendors that support Shared Services and systems enablement
- Lead ongoing evaluation of HRIS capabilities and roadmap planning, with consideration for replacement as needed
- Submit reporting to governing bodies, such as EEOC and US Department of Labor
- Work alongside the HR Business Partner, HR Compliance, Benefits, Legal, and Payroll teams daily to resolve employee matters and mitigate risk
- Collaborate with Talent Analytics team to support data management within various talent programs
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBP teams to manage hiring processes for both externally hired talent and Associates and Doctors joining through an office acquisition
- Demonstrate integrity in keeping information confidential and follow protocols for data sharing
- 10+ years of relevant experience in People Operations with a demonstrated track record of project management, service delivery, and HRIS administration
- Education in HR, IT, or Business Administration
- Experience managing large teams that deliver quality and compliant internal customer experience
- Experience leading HRIS administration and implementations through vendor evaluation, workflow optimization, role security, and process design
- Project Management or Lean Six Sigma experience to demonstrate ability to design efficient processes
- Working knowledge and understanding of HR legislation, employment law, principles, policies, and procedures
- Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to use sound judgment to drive complex issues to resolution
- A strong service orientation, high level of enthusiasm and a desire to help others succeed and grow
