The client is a key industry player within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy and support the shared services function.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers on all HR-related matters, providing strategic guidance and support.
- Manage the HR team within the shared services function, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee talent management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
- Lead employee relations efforts, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the shared services function.
- Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and shared services management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR role.
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive HR strategies and initiatives.
- Strong understanding of shared services operations and the unique HR challenges associated with this model.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in using HR systems and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Experience in a similar industry or environment is preferred.
