The client is a key industry player within the transportation and logistics industry.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy and support the shared services function.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers on all HR-related matters, providing strategic guidance and support.
  • Manage the HR team within the shared services function, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee talent management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting employee engagement and well-being.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, addressing any issues or conflicts that arise and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and support career growth.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure the consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the shared services function.
  • Drive change management initiatives to support organizational transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and shared services management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior HR role.
  • Proven track record of successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of shared services operations and the unique HR challenges associated with this model.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in using HR systems and technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Experience in a similar industry or environment is preferred.
